Volunteering
Thank you for interest in supporting our program through volunteering with Elements! Elements has operated at Round The Bend Farm (RTB) in South Dartmouth, MA, since 2018, and offers holistic, nature-focused education to a diverse group of children and families.
Here are some of the volunteer positions we will be looking for:
-Garden Volunteers: 1 or more times per month. Trained volunteers can volunteer on their own schedule.
-Volunteer Builder: Source materials or help us build small to large projects in our outdoor learning space. We’d like to add swings, climbing platforms, a zip-line, a shed and more!
-Fundraising Committee Members: Attend meetings, support event prep or outreach efforts. Minimal to moderate time commitment options.
-Volunteer Educators: Do you have a skill or topic of interested you’d like to teach a lesson on? Option to educate a variety of age groups, including families.
-Volunteer Classroom Helper: Come read a story, support kids to put on their outdoor gear, supervise and engage in various activities, prepare and tidy up materials for lessons & activities.
ENP welcomes volunteers as young as 16. Volunteers must be physically able to walk around outdoors in fields, trails, gardens and barns in all but extreme weather conditions. Volunteers must have respect, patience and understanding when working with children. Volunteers working with children will need to provide information and payment for a CORI/SORI background check, costing $25 for the volunteer.
